Seymours Godalming supports The Meath Christmas Appeal

In the lead up to today’s event, the branch has been promoting the Christmas Appeal on their window display at their prominent high street office in order to raise awareness and help to boost donations.

Helen Jackson, Marketing Manager at The Meath commented “We are so grateful that our friends at Seymours, Godalming are able to support us in this way. Fundraising has been so hard during 2020 and allowing us to use their display screens in the windows of their new branch is a huge help to us as we reach out to the community for support at the end of an extremely challenging year. We are also thrilled that the team at Seymours Godalming will be joining in our community Christmas Jumper Mufti day on Friday 11th December. As well as raising vital income for The Meath Christmas Appeal we hope that the team and all who are taking part in local schools and businesses also help us to raise awareness as well as lots of much needed festive cheer.”

The Meath is a specialist care home in Godalming which supports adults who live with complex epilepsy and disabilities. In addition to specialist residential care, they offer the people they support a broad range of daily, life enhancing activity sessions at their Skills Centre and their Social Enterprise, Changing Perceptions on Godalming High Street.

The Meath’s funding covers only the basic requirements so donations are needed to help sustain and maintain the life enriching services they offer.  If you would like to make a donation to their Christmas 2020 Appeal you can do so here or via www.meath.org.uk.
