Our Selling Process
Valuing your home
We help people move every day. The first step is obtaining an accurate valuation with one of our most senior and experienced people who will visit your home and listen to your moving goals and desires. We can help you understand the local market and give advice and guidance on the best route to achieving a premium price for your home.
Get prepared
Think like a buyer. Now’s the time to take care of the obvious items, declutter and freshen up your home in preparation for viewings. There’s also some paperwork to find and complete at this stage, we’ll give you a check list of all the things you need to attend to, such as ID checks.
Pre-market
Our team will visit in person to understand all their is to know about your home and why you love it so much. This ensures that we’re all on the same page with a shared interest and that our communication to buyers is full of first hand knowledge and experience of your home.
Marketing your home
Every single seller and every single home is different and by listening to your needs, we’ll take a bespoke, tailored approach to present your property to the market. Our in-house team of marketing specialists support each office to help present your property to the world in consummate style through the very best imagery, print and social media presence.

Viewings and negotiations
To save you time and help you secure an offer, our local agents accompany buyers on viewings and give you prompt and detailed feedback afterwards. We’re here to help buyers see the value of your home. Only our most experienced people will negotiate offers on your behalf to get a premium price for your property.
Conveyancing
When you’ve accepted an offer, the conveyancing process begins. This is the legal process of transferring ownership of your property, managed by your solicitor. There will be paperwork to complete and answers to provide – return everything as quickly as possible to avoid delays.
Exchange and completion
Before you can exchange contracts we can help you agree a move-in date alongside the buyer and then assist with firming up the removal firm. Once done you’ll exchange contracts to legally bind the sale agreement. Before signing the contracts, ensure all necessary checks are completed and any concerns are resolved, to provide peace of mind for both parties.
Complete the transaction
On completion day, your conveyancer will transfer the remaining purchaser funds to you. It’s time to say goodbye to all the household memories and close the chapter on this journey as you embark on the next. It’s on this day you’ll need to drop the keys into us so that we can give them to your buyer.
