We recently brought our first home through Seymours and it was wonderful experience working with them. Jason from Seymours Woking was very efficient after I showed interest in one property. He had arranged viewings of 3 additional houses which was very helpful. Jason is very knowledgeable and happy to ask others when he doesn’t know the answer to a specific question. He certainly made my house search easier.

    Is Woking a good commuter town to London?

    Woking town centre has rail links from the local areas such as Aldershot and Basingstoke as well as further afield such as Portsmouth. There are approximately 15 routes into London Waterloo with direct trains getting you into the heart of the capital in under 30 minutes.  You also have easy road links to the A3, M3 and M25 should road also be your preferred option.

    Why should you consider moving to Woking?

    Woking has something for everyone, it has great commuter links which gives you ample options when it comes to work as well as easy routes in and out of the area.

    The town centre itself is bustling with activity, and is currently under development following significant investment in the local infrastructure.  If you love the shopping, theatre, restaurants and facilities already available, you will be amazed when the development has completed.

    Woking’s schools are also are superb, with no less than 11 outstanding primary school options such St Dunstan’s Catholic and Goldsworth Park and great examples of secondary school excellence such as St John The Baptist.

    On your doorstep, the local countryside is second to none with wide ranging parks allowing walks across the incredible local area as well as riverside walks across Basingstoke Canal and the River Wey.

    Woking is also a place of significant historical interest with Woking Palace, connection with War of the Worlds writer H M Wells, Brookland cemetery.

    In essence, as much as Woking is an easy please to come and go, there is much to keep you here – and make you want to stay.
