Location:

The available position is located at our Woking Lettings office which has been helping landlords and tenants for over 15 years. Offering a range of landlord services, we are committed to supporting our clients through every step of their property journey. Woking, situated in Surrey, has a population of around 100,000, with a diverse mix of young professionals, families, and retirees. The town’s excellent transport links, including a fast train service to London, along with its strong rental demand, make it a prime location for both landlords and tenants. Its thriving town centre, parks, and nearby schools further enhance Woking's appeal as a sought-after rental destination. Role description:

As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential rental properties, ensuring that both landlords and tenants receive professional, responsive service. Your role will involve coordinating maintenance, handling tenant queries, conducting property inspections, and ensuring legal compliance. You will act as the primary point of contact between landlords and tenants, helping to resolve issues efficiently and ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with your Property Management team ensuring all properties are legal, safe and ready for occupation
  • Deliver a five-star service to our landlords and tenants through the life cycle of a fully managed property including
  • Carry out Pre-Tenancy Inspections
  • Undertake administrative tasks, keeping records and logs up to date
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with our Landlords and Tenants, ensuring we retain and develop all possible business opportunities
  • Checking works are completed and keeping all parties updated
  • Helping at the end of tenancies including communication relating to deposit returns
  • Resolving issues quickly and efficiently
  • Understand the importance of improving the quality of our portfolio 
  • Remain up to date with relevant legislation
  • Attending regular morning meetings with relevant Lettings teams in their offices, ensuring excellent communication between teams
  • Communicate with our sales teams to help identify new Landlord opportunities. 

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in property management within a lettings environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
  • Knowledge of current lettings legislation and regulations.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle issues calmly and efficiently.
  • Experience using property management software and CRM systems.
  • A high level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.

Working hours are:

Monday to Friday – 8.30 am – 6.30 pm.

Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm. (some rotational weekends will be applicable by an agreed roster and a day of in lieu)
