In 2024 alone, we’ve raised an incredible £33,000 for Woking & Sam Beare Hospice, bringing our total fundraising efforts to an astonishing £150,000.
Why Woking & Sam Beare Hospice Means So Much to Us
Woking & Sam Beare Hospice is more than just a charity—it’s a lifeline for thousands of patients and families across Surrey. Their dedicated team provides specialist palliative care, ensuring those facing life-limiting illnesses receive the support, dignity, and comfort they deserve. Having visited the hospice when it first opened, we saw firsthand the remarkable impact they have on the local community. That moment inspired us to become long-term supporters, doing what we can to help sustain their vital work.
Fundraising: A Core Part of Who We Are
At Seymours, supporting our community isn’t just an afterthought—it’s at the heart of what we do. Our social responsibility is a huge part of our ethos, and over the years, our partnership with the hospice has become a key part of our annual fundraising efforts. From sponsored events to charity challenges, we’re always looking for new ways to bring people together and raise funds. Some of our branches even donate a portion of every successful property sale to the hospice, ensuring our day-to-day business continues to make a meaningful impact.

Hitting this milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of our team, clients, and the local Woking community. In fact, our dedication to fundraising was recently recognised when we proudly received the Fundraising Champion Award for Best Community Efforts in July 2024, But we’re not stopping here. We’re already planning more exciting fundraising initiatives to push our total even higher.
