This year restrictions have eased and there are so many exciting events planned across Godalming and Haslemere for you to enjoy. This year marks the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and we look forward to our communities coming together to celebrate.
Spring celebrations begin with the Godalming Spring Festival on Saturday 2nd April. We are pleased to support this fantastic event by helping to raise awareness via our promotional boards, which you can see in and around the town.
The Mayor of Godalming, Councillor Michael Steel commented: “The Town Council’s Spring Festival is set to be action packed and visitors will be able to enjoy music and entertainment, browse a variety of stalls, and try out a range of delicious artisan street food and drink.
“We are grateful to the team at Seymours Estate Agents in Godalming for supporting this special community event by sponsoring promotional boards. This will benefit local charities, including my chosen charities.”

April
Godalming Spring Festival | Saturday 2nd | 10 – 4pm
Godalming Town Council invite you to browse a fantastic variety of stalls in the town centre and enjoy entertainment all day at the Pepperpot.
May
Little Lumpy Cycling Sportive | Sunday 15th
Choose from three epic routes, ranging from 40 to 100 miles. Find out more at here.
Godalming Run | Sunday 22nd
Back for its 10th anniversary, this exciting event will include a 1k Fun Run, 5k and 10k race. Register online here.
Haslemere Classic Car Tour and Show | Sunday 29th | 12pm – 5pm
Held on Lion Green, there will be a traditional fete and wonderful display of veteran, vintage and classic vehicles.
June – The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
Haslemere Bonfire and Fireworks | Thursday 2nd | from 8pm
Visit Woolmer Hill Sports Ground where a bonfire will be lit as a beacon at sunset. A fireworks display will round off the evening.
Sport Godalming | Friday 3rd
Enjoy a ‘Sport for All’ day and take part in various events and taster sessions at The Phillips Memorial Park. Find out more here.
Rotary Scarecrow Competition | Saturday 4th | 3pm
This year the theme is royalty and judging will take place on Lion Green, Haslemere.
Haslemere Carnival Procession and Tea Party | Sunday 5th | 1.30pm
The procession will travel from High Lane to Lion Green, with floats marking the seven decades of Her Majesty’s reign. A tea party on the green will follow from 2pm, with performances from live bands.
July
Haslemere Fringe Festival | Friday 1st | Sunday 3rd
Headline acts include Sleeper, The Feeling and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Book in advance here.
August
Staycation Live | Friday 5th – Sunday 7th
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Godalming’s community music, food and arts festival is back. It’s set to be bigger and better than ever with many great acts performing over two stages in Phillips Memorial Park.
Godalming Staycation | Monday 8th – Saturday 13th
An exciting programme of events for local individuals, families and groups will be run during the week. Find out more here.
Godalming Green Gala | Saturday 13th| 11am – 4pm
Organised by Godalming Town Council, this event is all about living sustainably and protecting the environment. Visit The Bury’s Field, sample delicious food and enjoy the entertainment.
